Situated on traditional Coast and Straits Salish territory, the University of Victoria is recognized for its commitment to and expertise in innovative programs and initiatives that support Aboriginal students and communities.
UVic offers a growing range of courses and programs that reflect the cultural and historical perspectives of Indigenous people. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment, and to provide services and programs that will help students succeed.
First Peoples House
First Peoples House will create a welcoming and supportive space on campus for Indigenous students and the broader community. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2008.
