UVic Experiences
Students
Michelle Reid is a fourth year Anthropology major looking toward a possible career in medical anthropology. Michelle is Muskeg Lake Cree and currently looking at co-op options at UVic.
Paul Thorkelsson is a second year graduate student studying for his Masters of Public Administration. Paul is a distance student working from Nanaimo.
Graeme Yamagishi is a second year Business student, Residence Advisor and also works on campus. Graeme is currently switching majors from Physics and Astronomy, and his retirement plan is to start a skate/surf shop on the beach in Hawaii.
Faculty
Lynne Van Luven has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Writing at UVic since 1997 and has "a great deal of curiosity about how things work and what motives guide human behaviour."
Alumni
Noel Carawan-Hubin is a UVic alum who finished her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Philosophy and English in 1989 and is currently consultant with Fujitsu Consulting Inc.
Carlie Graham is a UVic alum and staff member who has managed to etch out a career by combining her band geek and library geek superpowers into one ultra-mega-superpower!
